SENATE BILL NO. 221 "An Act establishing an advisory task force                                                                 
on higher education in the legislative branch of government; and                                                                
providing for an effective date" was read the second time.                                                                      
                                                                                                                                
Senator Meyer, Cochair, moved and asked unanimous consent for the                                                               
adoption of the Education Committee Substitute offered on page 1365.                                                            
Without objection, CS FOR SENATE BILL NO. 221(EDC) "An Act                                                                      
establishing an advisory task force on higher education and career                                                              
readiness in the legislative branch of government; and providing for an

Senator Ellis moved and asked unanimous consent that the bill be                                                                
considered engrossed, advanced to third reading and placed on final                                                             
passage. Without objection, it was so ordered.                                                                                  
                                                                                                                                
CS FOR SENATE BILL NO. 221(EDC) was read the third time.

Thomas, Egan moved and asked unanimous consent to be shown as                                                                   
cosponsors on the bill. Without objection, it was so ordered.

"An Act establishing an advisory task force on higher education and                                                             
career readiness in the legislative branch of government; and                                                                   
providing for an effective date" pass the Senate?" The roll was taken
